Remembrance Remembrance

It was the first day for me and I was in Homeroom – also my first block class, according to the schedule laying haphazardly on my desk – and, per usual, I was perched in one of the corner desks. As far from the door and the teacher as I could get. A new school. A new town. Again. I was not thrilled about it, but there isn't much I could do about it. My grandfather went wherever his commanding officers told him to, like a dog trained to jump on command. I loved the man to death, but the constant moving didn't do miracles to my personality.

Misdemeanor Misdemeanor

I paced back and forth on the porch, my heeled boots clicking in a dangerously swift rhythm, with a cigarette in hand. Something felt off for me, today. I was antsy, agitated, and incredibly torn over whether I needed to stay at the house or take off and go somewhere in an attempt – futile as it may be – to clear my cluttered mind. Growling at myself and my indecision, I spun on my heels and lightly fell back into one of the soft chairs dotting the porch. Hello, everyone! What to say.. What to say... ^.^

I've been writing and drawing as a hobby for as long as I can remember, though it wasn't until a few years back that I started to become serious with my writing. My drawing, however, has taken a back burner for me. I still sketch on occasion, but it's becoming increasingly rare. I have been published once, and that was a massive shock moment for me, in Calhoun's literary magazine The Muse.
I'm a very friendly person and I LOVE to meet and chat with fellow artists, so feel free to contact me. Don't be shy. I won't mind.

I'm currently working on what can potentially be a chapter two for Passionate Servant. I really do hope it will work out, because the idea of turning it into a series of chaptered scenes instead of just a brief short story just makes me smile to think about. I will probably never turn it into an actual novella/novel, but having multiple different scenes revolving around the same two people each time and seeing how they grow into their roles... ^.^
